POLICIES & PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
The Resonant Actor
By registering for classes or booking coaching sessions with The Resonant Actor, you agree to the following policies and participation terms.
1. Registration and Payment
All classes and coaching sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Registration or session scheduling is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.
All payments are processed securely through the website’s designated payment provider.
Program Minimum Enrollment
The Resonant Actor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class or program if minimum enrollment is not met. If this occurs, participants will receive either a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future session.
2. Refund Policy
Because class sizes are intentionally limited, tuition is generally non-refundable once a class or program has begun.
If a participant withdraws before the program begins, refunds may be issued at the discretion of The Resonant Actor.
Private coaching sessions may be rescheduled with sufficient notice as outlined in the cancellation policy below.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Private coaching sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be forfeited and may not be eligible for rescheduling.
If The Resonant Actor needs to reschedule a session due to scheduling conflicts or emergencies, an alternative time will be offered.
If a participant arrives late to a scheduled coaching session, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. Additional time cannot be guaranteed.
4. Class Attendance
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.
Because classes are interactive and limited in size, missed classes may not be made up unless otherwise arranged.
If a student must miss a class due to illness or unavoidable circumstances, please notify The Resonant Actor as soon as possible.
5. Age Requirements
The Foundations of Resonance intensive is designed for actors between the ages of 10 and 18.
For students under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration and agree to these policies on behalf of the student.
6. Participation Expectations
The Resonant Actor is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and supportive training environment.
Participants are expected to:
• participate respectfully
• listen to fellow actors
• engage seriously with the training process
• contribute to a positive learning environment
Participants must treat fellow students, instructors, and staff with respect. Behavior that interferes with the learning environment may result in removal from the program without refund.
Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program without refund.
7. Student Safety and Respect
Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct toward other participants or instructors will not be tolerated.
The Resonant Actor reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the learning environment or compromises the safety and well-being of others.
8. Zoom Participation
Many classes and coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom.
Participants are responsible for providing:
• a reliable internet connection
• a functioning camera and microphone
• a reasonably quiet environment for participation
Active participation with camera on is encouraged so actors can fully engage in the training experience.
9. Technology Issues
If a class or coaching session is disrupted due to internet outages, platform issues, or technical failures outside the control of The Resonant Actor, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule or provide an alternative solution.
Technical issues on the participant’s side (including internet connectivity, equipment failure, or software problems) do not guarantee a refund or rescheduled session.
10. Recording Policy
Participants may not record classes or coaching sessions without explicit permission.
If The Resonant Actor records sessions for educational or internal purposes, participants will be notified in advance.
Recordings are for internal educational use only unless additional permission is granted.
11. Photo and Video Use
From time to time, The Resonant Actor may share educational moments, testimonials, or class highlights on social media or the website.
This may include:
• brief video clips
• screenshots
• photographs
• student testimonials
No participant content will be shared publicly without appropriate consent.
For participants under the age of 18, parental or guardian permission will be obtained before any image or recording is used publicly.
Participants may opt out of media use at any time by notifying The Resonant Actor in writing.
12. Parent and Guardian Communication
For participants under the age of 18, communication regarding scheduling, registration, and participation may be directed to the parent or guardian who completed the registration.
Parents or guardians are welcome to contact The Resonant Actor with questions regarding participation or scheduling.
To maintain a focused learning environment, parents may not attend live class sessions unless previously arranged.
13. Student Preparation and Materials
Students are expected to arrive prepared for class or coaching sessions.
This may include:
• having scripts or materials ready
• completing any requested preparation
• memorizing assigned material when required
Preparedness helps ensure that all students receive the full benefit of the training. Repeated lack of preparation may limit a student’s ability to participate fully in exercises or scene work.
14. Educational Nature of Training
The Resonant Actor provides acting education and coaching.
Participation in classes or coaching does not guarantee auditions, representation, casting opportunities, or employment in the entertainment industry. The Resonant Actor does not provide talent representation, management, or employment procurement services.
Training is intended to support artistic development and acting craft.
15. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, exercises, worksheets, class structures, and training methods provided through The Resonant Actor are the intellectual property of Danny Pintauro and The Resonant Actor.
These materials are provided solely for the personal educational use of registered participants.
Participants may not copy, reproduce, distribute, teach, publish, share, or sell any materials or exercises without written permission.
16. Non-Sharing of Materials
Participants may not distribute or share class materials, worksheets, exercises, recordings, or educational content with individuals who are not enrolled in the program.
17. Unexpected Circumstances
If classes or coaching sessions must be canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the control of The Resonant Actor (including illness, emergency, natural disaster, or major technical outages), reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule the session.
18. Limitation of Liability
Participation in classes or coaching sessions is voluntary.
The Resonant Actor and Danny Pintauro shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in classes, coaching sessions, or use of training materials. Participants assume responsibility for their own participation in exercises and activities conducted during training.
19. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration is used only for communication related to classes and coaching.
Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required to process payments or manage scheduling.
20. Policy Updates
The Resonant Actor reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time.
Updated policies will be posted on the website.
21. Governing Law
These policies and agreements shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of California.
22. Entire Agreement
These policies constitute the full agreement between participants and The Resonant Actor regarding classes and coaching services.
23. Agreement
By registering for classes or coaching sessions with The Resonant Actor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the Policies and Participation Agreement.
